 Lisa Alesci was born in Northern Ireland and comes from a family of linguists and anthropologists. Lisa attended the College of Business Studies at Queens University, Belfast and has worked for many international companies including the Industrial Development Authority of Ireland in their Boston office, Aer Lingus, EuroCenter Dublin, Pan Am, Braniff International, and J.D. MacDonald & Co.
Lisa is responsible for reviewing résumés, evaluating projects and matching and assigning them to the appropriate translator or translation team. Lisa's background, along with her extensive traveling abroad, has resulted in a profound respect for all cultures. Her ability to truly connect, regardless of language barriers or distance, has created lasting and productive relationships around the world.

 Karen A. Miller offers over 20 years of administrative, finance, accounting, sales and marketing experience to the company. She has worked for accounting firms and large corporations such as Sound Coat Company, Inc. and Waldbaums Supermarkets. Karen is particularly talented in streamlining management processes, yielding significant cost and time efficiencies.
Karen's primary function is internal administration, particularly concerning accounting, credit approval, costing, negotiating fees, invoicing and payments. On large projects, Karen is responsible for setting payment schedules and liaising between clients and translators on all matters involving payment. Her integrity and ability as a problem solver has earned respect from clients, translators and vendors.

 Rosario
Latin American Spanish
Rosario earned her degree in Translation from the University of Uruguay and has extensive experience in translating for an Internet portal targeting Latin America. Rosario specializes in software, legal documents and corporate literature and is the translator of choice for a prominent author of children's stories. She is requested by name by many of our clients because of her excellent attention to detail. Rosario has such a good command of both English and Spanish that she has frequently assisted clients in correcting problems she has encountered, even in English source documents. She has often dedicated hours of research to be able to provide precise, concise translated renditions of clients' files.

Portuguese
Carla, from São Paulo, Brazil, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Pontifíca Universidade Católica in English Language and Literature and is accredited by the American Translators Association. After college, Carla participated in a two-year training program with an American translation company. She was a senior Portuguese in-house translator and Portuguese Department Manager in a publishing company for six years, and currently performs translations, editing and proofreading for major corporations such as Microsoft, IBM, American Express, Internet companies, airline carriers, and cruise lines. Carla's flexibility and dedication has extended to handling translations even when out of the country on business or on vacation.

French
Stéphan was born and raised in France and has been living in the U.S. for the past six years. He earned an MBA from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing from the French-American Institute of Management in Paris, a Diploma in International Business with Honors from Leeds University, UK, and a Baccalaureate with Honors majoring in Mathematics and Physics in France. He is a member of the American Translators Association. He is an all-around excellent translator, but specializes in translation of software, program strings and web site localization from English to French.

 Lorrain
Hebrew
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Lorrain attended the City University of New York. After college, she moved to Israel where she worked in the legal department of a government agency. After specializing in legal translations, Lorrain was hired by Israel’s top translation company as their primary in-house translator, becoming Head of the English Desk, a position she held for 8 years. She oversaw and edited the work of the freelance translators, gave translation seminars and mentored the company’s legal translators. Lorrain returned to the United States after raising her son and seeing him through his compulsory service in the Israeli army. She now works as a freelance translator and we are privileged to be able to work with her.

Russian
Andrey is a native speaker with over 10 years of translator/interpreter experience, specializing in legal, technical, and medical texts. He earned accreditation from the ATA in English to Russian, and from the CTIC in English to Russian and Russian to English, and Ukrainian to English. He is a certified member of STIBC and ATIA in Canada. Andrey has translated for major corporations such as Boeing, Ford, HP and Motorola. He sums up his translation service in 3 words, "Quality, Quality, Quality!" We agree.

Since earning his graduate diploma in translation and a BA in English Language and Literature from Aleppo University in Syria, Dikran has been a certified translator for more than 17 years. He has considerable experience in translating legal, medical, corporate, advertising, political, religious, literary and technical documents, along with software localization. Dikran has a complete understanding of the problems clients can encounter in supporting Arabic fonts. We are sincerely grateful to him for his willing assistance to educate us in finding solutions to fit every requirement up to and including providing print-ready files.

Greek
Helen is a qualified nurse, having worked in Greek hospitals for nearly 10 years. Her background, along with extensive research, has made her a much sought-after translator in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. She is now a Court certified translator and also specializes in software localization and translating legal and insurance documents. In addition, she gained considerable expertise over the last 10 years in handling technical translations, particularly in the aerospace industry. Her solid grip on this industry has gained her recognition with companies such as Bombardier Aerospace, where she translated the CL-415 aircraft documentation. She has provided translation services for various government agencies in the US, Greece and Canada, including the Royal Canadian Mint and the Hellenic Ministry of Public Order. She was the translator of choice for a successful public relations campaign mounted by a major power provider in the New York area. Helen can format your files to be compatible with most systems, and is excellent at providing support in handling documents in Greek fonts.
